Spider-Man’s New Suit Revealed in First Teaser for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”

According to CinemaDrame News Agency, Sony Pictures has unveiled Tom Holland’s new Spider-Man suit in a teaser for the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The nine-second teaser, which offers a close-up look at the new costume, was released exactly one year ahead of the film’s premiere to coincide with National Spider-Man Day.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be the fourth Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The screenplay is being written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Alongside Holland, the return of Zendaya and Jacob Batalon has been confirmed, while Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas will appear in undisclosed roles. The Hollywood Reporter has also noted that Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as the Punisher.

Filming for the project has recently begun in London and is expected to continue through the fall. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be the first Marvel Cinematic Universe film released after Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Tom Holland was last seen as Spidey in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). After defeating several villains from parallel universes, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) cast a spell causing the world to forget Spider-Man’s true identity.

At the end of No Way Home, there was a brief shot of Holland in a new suit reminiscent of the one depicted in the classic comic books. The new Brand New Day teaser appears to showcase a costume inspired by that design.

Sony Pictures is set to release Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31, 2026.
